I love collecting and making zines. If you don’t know what a zine is, I’d define them as DIY, independently published magazines. There are no rules - they can be any size, any shape, any colour, one page or multiple pages, handmade, digital, any subject. For me that’s the best thing about them - there are no creative limits - you can publish whatever you like.

I decided to document my zine collection as I wanted to showcase the variety of publications I’ve found over the years. Some are still available to buy and some were limited edition. The ones I own cover a broad range of topics - music, random, funny, weird, illustrations, photos, collage, diaries, mental health, social issues, perzines, comments on popular culture and society, nostalgia. I’ve also created some of my own which are for sale in my Etsy store.
